Adam Eskdale

A passionate, capable, and innovative young geoscientist with expertise in the solid earth sciences, in particular ore deposit geology, applied geochemistry, GIS, field geology, and mineral exploration. My recent professional activities have focused on critical and base metal exploration across Europe, Scandinavia, and South Africa as part of the Rio Tinto Exploration team. My academic interests are in developing effective techniques and workflows for critical metal exploration, part of the larger, international movement to accelerate the prospection for economic, critical metal-bearing deposits. My career goal is to use my experiences of the mineral exploration sector to teach the next generation of geoscientists and collaborate with global partners in applied research to enhance tools for the mineral exploration industry.
